Mail Server Standard Maintenance Checklist

Daily
Check CPU/Memory use

Perform hot fixes, service packs, update rollups, and security updates
Perform Disaster recovery test  – testing one backup a month to restore
Check Monitor and document license usage
Do defragment the databases if necessary
